Advance HE have launched the 2023-4 Aurora Programme.

The Aurora Programme is designed to inspire women to achieve leadership positions within higher education (HE) and help address the under representation of women in senior positions in HE. It is led by a team of leadership experts and, in conjunction with a mentoring process, combines development days, group and self-directed learning, an in-person day - Your Future in HE - and optional networking sessions. It is designed for those, who identify as women, up to and including senior lecturer/senior research fellow or the professional & support services equivalent (Grade 8), who are considering leadership and management as routes to progression.

If you wish to be considered for the Aurora Programme, please contact your Dean/ Director or Line Manager and they will guide you on any school/service/departmental processes relating to participation in learning and development programmes. Participation is funded by your school/service and the charge for each participant is £975 for bookings by July 31st and £1025 thereafter.

The 2023-4 dates are available, so you can see which cohort best fits in with your schedule, however please note that there is one in-person event for each cohort and for the Northern cohort it is planned to be held in Leeds.

Please contact Susan Branton if you have any questions or if you would like to have a chat with a recent participant to find out more about the programme.

Once your place on the programme is approved, please check the booking process with your school/service and contact Susan Branton for the booking link.
